Angel Casa vs Jose Claro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Barbero, San Jose,  taking place on 15/04/2026:

Clearly AI Costa Rica-San Jose have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Casa (1 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Jose Claro(3 - 2 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Casa weighed in at 168 pounds, while Claro weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Loredo Mesquita, and the three ringside judges are Tadzio Karp, Sierra Abela and Luis Seta.
