Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at John Cary Gym, Drogheda,  taking place on 13/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roy Molony (11 - 7 - 1) who hails from Tallaght, Ireland and Rory Doherty(5 - 7 - 5) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Molony and Doherty weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Fitzgerald, and the three ringside judges are Lewis MacNevin, Joshua MacCarthy and Rory Finnegan.
