Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Ginasio do Ibirapuera, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kiki Parco (7 - 3) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Berto Mateos(21(1) - 3(1)) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Parco weighed in at 228 pounds and 5 ounces, while Mateos weighed in at 241 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Betancourt, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Reposa, Juan Ramo and Marco Ponciano.
