Sajid Sabry vs Rehan Najibullah

Boxing Daily Report from the Munamonga Promotions promoted show at Alexandria Almaraghi, Alexandria,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

Clearly Munamonga Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sajid Sabry (17 - 8 - 1) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Rehan Najibullah(11 - 7(1) - 3) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Sabry and Najibullah weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Eldegheidy, and the three ringside judges are Rehan Allam, Rehman Mohamed and Amer Halaby.  

Round 1: 

Sabry closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sabry advances into close range.  Najibullah is on target with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Najibullah dabs at his face checking for damage.

Sabry steps inside.  Najibullah goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Sabry time to recover.  
Sabry switches the action to the outside.  Najibullah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Najibullah lands a left uppercut.  
Sabry finds the target with a jab.  
Najibullah connects with a cross.
