Tajo Ozuna vs Montel Muro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Landin, Monterrey,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Ozuna (4 - 6) who hails from Guadalupe, Mexico and Montel Muro(1 - 3 - 2) from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico.  Ozuna weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces, while Muro weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Velasquez, and the three ringside judges are Angel Capistran, Juan Loredo and Onofre Medero.
