Jordan Shortt vs Mel Fannon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New Jersey promoted show at Paterson Laurie, Paterson,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

Clearly AI USA-New Jersey have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Shortt (8 - 6 - 4) who hails from Jersey City, USA and Mel Fannon(2 - 1) from Jersey City, USA.  Both Shortt and Fannon weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Kellison, and the three ringside judges are Ewan McLoughlin, Lee Bowell and Paul Bett.

Shortt drives a left hook into Fannon's body.
