Charlie Ray vs Paul Nessmith

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Raleigh Monroe, Raleigh,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

Clearly AI USA-North Carolina have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charlie Ray (5 - 0 - 1) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Paul Nessmith(6 - 0 - 3) from Charlotte, USA.  Ray weighed in at 167 pounds And 4 ounces, while Nessmith weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Armstrong, and the three ringside judges are Mark Baxa, Felix Hughes and Kian Bourne.
