Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Chesapeake McIver, Chesapeake,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

Clearly AI USA-Virginia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth McBride (16(1) - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Chesapeake, USA and Charles Boyle(11 - 0) from Richmond, USA.  Both McBride and Boyle weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Malcomson, and the three ringside judges are Sam Cowper, Waleed Mady and Hugh Cassidy.
