Jay Galindez vs Diego Mina

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Alamodome Indoor Arena, San Antonio,  taking place on 06/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Galindez (19(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Diego Mina(8 - 3 - 1) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  Both Galindez and Mina weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Curto, and the three ringside judges are Danny Henderson, Chris Suit and Harry Burwick.  

Round 1: 

Galindez gets on the inside.  Mina lands a right hook.

Mina advances into close range.  Galindez lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mina throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a nasty left hook.  MINA IS HURT!  Mina almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Mina hits home with a right hook.  Mina throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Mina forces Galindez to retreat onto the ropes.  Mina contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Galindez drives a sharp right hook into Mina's ribs.
