Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Nord-Oueste promoted show at Bamenda Bastien, Bamenda,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Byron Mabouka (9 - 9) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Gregory Bekono(8 - 5 - 3) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Mabouka weighed in at 112 pounds, while Bekono weighed in at 111 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hubert Breton, and the three ringside judges are Mallory Maupassant, Corbin Maillard and Jasper Artaud.
