Ryo Perez vs Agapetus Laverde

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Alviar, Havana,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryo Perez (17(4) - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Agapetus Laverde(16 - 3) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Perez weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces, while Laverde weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alfonso Fiel, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Fiel, Fanuco Recio and Luis Cruz.
