Wang Ojong vs Yao Liaw

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Sichuan promoted show at Liang Hui Gym, Chengdu,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Sichuan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wang Ojong (9 - 3) who hails from Chengdu, China and Yao Liaw(5 - 7 - 2) from Chengdu, China.  Both Ojong and Liaw weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Genjo Owyang, and the three ringside judges are HuiK'o Soon, Wen Li and Jiang Pu.
