Mortimer Beaufort vs Bassett Caron

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Languedoc-Roussillon promoted show at Dashiell Rubel Gym, Montpellier,  taking place on 18/04/2026:

Clearly AI France-Languedoc-Roussillon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Languedoc-Roussillon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mortimer Beaufort (4 - 9 - 4) who hails from Montpellier, France and Bassett Caron(7 - 8(1) - 2) from Nimes, France.  Beaufort weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Caron weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barbabe Belan, and the three ringside judges are Garner Baze, Orleans Jean-Baptiste and Orleans Jean-Baptiste.
