Shaquille Dotse vs Joe Mpala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Khayelitsha Akuetteh, Khayelitsha,  taking place on 28/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the South Africa-Gauteng Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shaquille Dotse (13 - 9(2) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Joe Mpala(9 - 8 - 4) from Soshanguve, South Africa.  Both Dotse and Mpala weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yobachi Dlamini, and the three ringside judges are Quoitrel Sotyu, Lehlohonolo Cardoso and David Pienaar.
