Sobhan Elakchaoui vs Sajid Galloul

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at CICEC, Casablanca,  taking place on 29/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Northern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Al Jazeera Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sobhan Elakchaoui (20(9) - 0) who hails from Errachidia, Morocco and Sajid Galloul(18 - 3(1)) from Constantine, Algeria.  Elakchaoui weighed in at 245 pounds and 8 ounces, while Galloul weighed in at 239 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Adel, and the three ringside judges are Husam al Din Bouchikhi, Djalaleddin Alfasi and Hadir Zakaria.
