Rio Garcia vs Tajo Abeyta

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Calle, Havana,  taking place on 17/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rio Garcia (14 - 4(1)) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Tajo Abeyta(10 - 10) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Garcia and Abeyta weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Sanchez, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Maria, Agapetus Triana and Pedro Pico.
