Luis Yanez vs Rodrigo Davalos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guanajuato promoted show at Mexico-Guanajuato Gym, Leon,  taking place on 17/05/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Guanajuato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luis Yanez (10 - 4 - 2) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Rodrigo Davalos(2 - 4 - 2) from Celaya, Mexico.  Both Yanez and Davalos weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Cal, and the three ringside judges are Diego Nuncio, Alvino Villavicencio and Carlos Camara.
