Rob Duggan vs David Haw

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 29/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob Duggan (17(5) - 7(5)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and David Haw(14(2) - 1 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Duggan weighed in at 153 pounds And 13 ounces, while Haw weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Mel Culp, Inigo Craigen and Ian Corrie.  

Round 1: 

Haw advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut.
