Ibrahim Kahveci vs Tariq Gamal

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Cairo Flaccus, Cairo,  taking place on 18/05/2026:

Clearly AI Egypt-Cairo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Cairo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ibrahim Kahveci (7 - 12 - 2) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Tariq Gamal(9 - 10 - 6) from Cairo, Egypt.  Kahveci weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces, while Gamal weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Umair Hamed, and the three ringside judges are Atif Charobim, Yasin Zadeh and Mohsin Masood.
