Quico Lupercio vs Jose Palacios

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-Santa Ana promoted show at Venacio Fama Gym, Santa Ana,  taking place on 19/05/2026:

Clearly AI El Salvador-Santa Ana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 17, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quico Lupercio (8 - 8(1) - 3) who hails from Santa Ana, El Salvador and Jose Palacios(5 - 11 - 6) from San Salvador, El Salvador.  Both Lupercio and Palacios weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Berto Alfaro, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Morro, Xaver Terronez and Emanuel Morro.
