Dillon Carse vs Mason Wham

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Delta Ottawa Hotel, Ottawa,  taking place on 20/05/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dillon Carse (3 - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Mason Wham(0 - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Carse and Wham weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Josh Watson, and the three ringside judges are Jamie Barclay, Davie Foyle and Rob Murray.  

Round 1: 

Carse steps inside and forces Wham to back into a corner.  Carse sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Carse connects with a left hook.  
Carse steps inside.  Wham throws a right hook, but Carse ties up his opponent.  Carse is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Carse pushes his forearm into Wham's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Carse to stop fouling.

Wham gets on the inside and walks Carse into the corner.  Carse lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Carse is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.

Carse forces Wham to retreat into the corner.  Carse sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Carse steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.

Carse pivots from in front of his opponent.  Wham throws a left hook, but Carse clinches his opponent.  Carse leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.
