Ryuu Seta vs Shinji Koda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Jun Orio Gym, Kasugai,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Aichi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Seta (3 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Shinji Koda(7 - 8 - 1) from Nagoya, Japan.  Seta weighed in at 140 pounds, while Koda weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hiro Taketa, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Jin, Raiden Matsui and Raiden Matsui.  

Round 1: 

Koda walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Koda pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Koda gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
