Daiki Tada vs Hitoshi Kawahara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Kei Kubo Gym, Asahikawa,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Hokkaido have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daiki Tada (5 - 1) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Hitoshi Kawahara(5 - 11 - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Tada weighed in at 140 pounds, while Kawahara weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Minami, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Kawabata, Raiden Takamoto and Satoru Yasui.  

Round 1: 

Tada lands with a stinging jab.
