Daichi Takenaka vs Ichiro Imamura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Ace Boxing Gym, Saitama,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Saitama have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Takenaka (14 - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Ichiro Imamura(12 - 2(1) - 1) from Kawaguchi, Japan.  Both Takenaka and Imamura weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Kamei, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Okubo, Satoru Matsui and Hikaru Masaki.
