Gennady Zakis vs Primo Bortone

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Skonto Hall, Riga,  taking place on 30/05/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gennady Zakis (9(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Primo Bortone(5 - 11 - 1) from Bologna, Italy.  Zakis weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Bortone weighed in at 159 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aleksei Ubags, and the three ringside judges are Vikenti Vecvanags, Viktor Gargailis and Borya Kede.
