Luis Diaz vs Carlos Echevarria

Boxing Daily Report from the Supreme Boxing Promotions promoted show at University de Puerto Rico en Bayamon, Bayamon,  taking place on 22/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luis Diaz (5 - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Carlos Echevarria(9 - 2) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  Both Diaz and Echevarria weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Toscano, and the three ringside judges are Macario Armenta, Eduardo Mallen and Xeres Trigueros.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Echevarria.
