Nemesio Baron vs Juan Vaquera

Boxing Daily Report from the RingSlide España promoted show at Lasesarre, Bilbao,  taking place on 12/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Spain Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nemesio Baron (19(4) - 1) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Juan Vaquera(18 - 5(1)) from Madrid, Spain.  Both Baron and Vaquera weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Orellana, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Perdomo, Juan Barro and Emanuel Carmen.  

Round 1: 

Baron advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Baron clinches his opponent.  Baron is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Baron to stop fouling.
