Kashif Karsenty vs Ibrahim Thomson

Boxing Daily Report from the Sh4rk promoted show at Imran Albalbali Gym, Algiers,  taking place on 21/05/2026:

Clearly Sh4rk have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Alger Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kashif Karsenty (9 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Ibrahim Thomson(11 - 5 - 2) from Algiers, Algeria.  Karsenty weighed in at 122 pounds, while Thomson weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Majid Laouzai, and the three ringside judges are Amer Dhina, Majid Habri and Faisal Belkaroui.  

Round 1:

Thomson connects with a right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Thomson dabs at his face checking for damage.
