Bilal Alam vs Chandrakant Takshak

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Mumbai Pirani, Mumbai,  taking place on 19/05/2026:

Clearly AI India-Maharashtra have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India-Maharashtra Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bilal Alam (15(4) - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Pune, India and Chandrakant Takshak(8 - 8 - 3) from Pune, India.  Both Alam and Takshak weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darshan Devshah, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Kassar, Ananta Goswami and Jasvinder Kapoor.  

Round 1:
