Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-East Azerbaijan promoted show at Tabriz Manafov, Tabriz,  taking place on 19/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran-East Azerbaijan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malik Gajani (13(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Majid Sayadov(9 - 6) from Tabriz, Iran.  Gajani weighed in at 147 pounds, while Sayadov weighed in at 146 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Garakhanov, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Saah, Tariq Rahmani and Kamran Diab.
