Mason Dockter vs Joaquin Losada

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Centro De Esportes, Recife,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dr Mason Dockter (16(7) - 0) who hails from Birmingham, USA and Joaquin Losada(18 - 1(1) - 1) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Both Dockter and Losada weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fresco Orta, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Flor, Joaquin Flora and Xalvador Silverio.  

Round 1: 

Losada steps inside.  Dockter pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dockter lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Dockter holds on to his opponent.  Dockter is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Dockter and breaks the clinch.  
Losada walks Dockter into the corner.  Losada connects with a left hook.  
Dockter lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Dockter steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Losada steps inside.  Dockter pivots to the right of his opponent.  Dockter lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Dockter ties up his opponent.  Dockter tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Losada behind the head. Losada hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Losada manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Losada pivots to the side of his opponent.  Losada throws a right hook, but Dockter ties up his opponent.  Dockter is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dockter is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Dockter quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand left to the head.  
Dockter steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  Dockter throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Losada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Dockter drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Dockter tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a stinging cross.  
Dockter lands a spiteful jab.  
Dockter hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Losada throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Dockter's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Losada walks Dockter down, trapping him on the ropes.  Dockter lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Dockter quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a ramrod jab.

Losada is looking to close the distance.  Dockter lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Dockter holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Losada pushes his forearm into Dockter's face.  The referee warns Losada and breaks the clinch.  
Dockter is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Dockter connects with a FIERCE right hook.  LOSADA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Losada now seems to have got his legs back.
