Eric Owens vs Brin Aries

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Wembley Arena, London,  taking place on 06/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eric Owens (22(8) - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Brin Aries(11 - 8(1)) from London, UK.  Both Owens and Aries weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jamie Hayes, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Musto, Richie Harp and Darryl Byrne.  

Round 1: 

Owens lands a solid left hook.  
Aries quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Owens lands a left uppercut.  Owens ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Owens pushes his forearm into Aries's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Owens advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Aries's body.
