Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre, Soweto,  taking place on 22/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Henry Ngelessy (8(3) - 0) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Umut Shakir(14 - 2(1) - 1) from Bursa, Turkey.  Ngelessy weighed in at 241 pounds and 8 ounces, while Shakir weighed in at 228 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bongani Zungu, and the three ringside judges are Quaddus Rascalimu, Bernardus Hertzog and Jackson Mnyamane.
