Kyan Otu vs Lugono Motshekga

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

Clearly Quick Tan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kyan Otu (2 - 0) who hails from Soshanguve, South Africa and Lugono Motshekga(1 - 2 - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Otu and Motshekga weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bongani Zungu, and the three ringside judges are Cole Twala, Tshepo Nqakula and Asavela Sikali.  

Round 1: 

Otu is on target with a cross.
