Rush Baston vs Lucien Christophe

Boxing Daily Report from the Mnyamane Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Bernanos, Abidjan,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rush Baston (5 - 6 - 6) who hails from Abobo, Ivory Coast and Lucien Christophe(15 - 2) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Baston weighed in at 160 pounds, while Christophe weighed in at 159 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Darrieux, and the three ringside judges are Montrell Papineau, Travis Bay and Briant Castile.
