Hajime Yokota vs Hikaru Yamakawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Muya Promotions promoted show at Chiba Tone, Chiba,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Chiba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Yokota (15 - 2 - 1) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Hikaru Yamakawa(6 - 0) from Matsudo, Japan.  Both Yokota and Yamakawa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michi Sakamoto, and the three ringside judges are Jun Shiro, Fumio Taketa and Daiki Fujimura.
