Raiden Nakanishi vs Akira Okimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Hitoshi Ito Gym, Osaka,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raiden Nakanishi (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Toyonaka, Japan and Akira Okimoto(9 - 10 - 3) from Toyonaka, Japan.  Nakanishi weighed in at 118 pounds, while Okimoto weighed in at 117 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yoshi Yamane, and the three ringside judges are Akira Iha, Kazuhiko Tsutsumi and Naoki Koyama.
