Nori Obara vs Kei Konya

Boxing Daily Report from the Namadembwe Promotions promoted show at Taro Aoki Gym, Saitama,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nori Obara (5 - 0) who hails from Koshigaya, Japan and Kei Konya(2 - 10 - 2) from Koshigaya, Japan.  Obara weighed in at 225 pounds and 13 ounces, while Konya weighed in at 213 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dai Shiroma, and the three ringside judges are Yuichi Mihara, Kenji Nishi and Hiroki Okubo.
