Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Mollison, Waitakere,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kris Edmund (3 - 2 - 2) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and John Malcomson(5(1) - 0) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Edmund weighed in at 108 pounds, while Malcomson weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Henry Ngahoro, and the three ringside judges are Corey Hopper, Justin Patariki and Glynn Telford.
