Paul Ngassi vs Koos Stander

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at University of Western Cape Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 19/06/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Ngassi (13(3) - 0) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Koos Stander(14(2) - 4) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Both Ngassi and Stander weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xhosas Serero, and the three ringside judges are Laken Ako, Bongi Rantie and Madisha Mini.
