Sam Shirar vs Stephen Sommerville

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Montreal Pigalle, Montreal,  taking place on 13/05/2026:

Clearly Basemera Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sam Shirar (1(1) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Stephen Sommerville(1 - 0 - 3) from Jersey City, USA.  Both Shirar and Sommerville weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Smith, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Kopa, Mark Mostyn and Olier Paradis.
