Shaun Bukaka vs Michael Kathrada

Boxing Daily Report from the Rail Roaders promoted show at Sammy Lemba Gym, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 22/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shaun Bukaka (5 - 7 - 4) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Michael Kathrada(11 - 8 - 2) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Both Bukaka and Kathrada weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Tshiepela, and the three ringside judges are Rob Mthethwa, Chris Matata and Dele Hlatshwayo.
