Montana Basa vs Gig Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Leon Roldan, Leon,  taking place on 26/04/2026:

Clearly AI Nicaragua-Leon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Leon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montana Basa (11 - 7(2) - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Gig Diaz(8 - 9(2) - 4) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Both Basa and Diaz weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Cuesta, and the three ringside judges are Rio Zaragoza, Diego Galano and Marco Sabio.
