Rodrigo Belles vs Guillermo Lazo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Managua promoted show at Managua Casimiro, Managua,  taking place on 26/04/2026:

Clearly AI Nicaragua-Managua have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Belles (9 - 9) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Guillermo Lazo(8 - 8 - 4) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Belles and Lazo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francisco Osegueda, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Devera, Rodrigo Alcala and Montana Devera.  

Round 1: 

Lazo gets on the inside.  Belles pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lazo lands a left hook.  
Lazo gets on the inside and manouvers Belles into the blue corner.  Belles is on target with a left uppercut.  
Lazo is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.
