Tunde Okorowanta vs Nelson Soriola

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Cross River State promoted show at Leighton Tombiri Gym, Calabar,  taking place on 26/04/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Cross River State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Cross River State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tunde Okorowanta (3 - 5 - 5) who hails from Calabar, Nigeria and Nelson Soriola(3 - 7 - 3) from Calabar, Nigeria.  Okorowanta weighed in at 201 pounds And 4 ounces, while Soriola weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Okorowanta came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jack Adesoji, and the three ringside judges are Kunle Feghabo, Odion Aghahowa and Odion Aghahowa.
