Boxing Daily Report from the Chilembe Promotions promoted show at Havana Cornejo, Havana,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

Clearly Chilembe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jose Sabino (4 - 0) who hails from Santa Clara, Cuba and Gethin Shanks(2 - 4 - 2) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Sabino and Shanks weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Agapetus Triana, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Abela, Ulises Lagos and Pedro Pico.
