Mel Renwick vs Ian Pierson

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 10/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mel Renwick (4 - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Ian Pierson(3 - 2) from Fremont, USA.  Renwick weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces, while Pierson weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver McCleese, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Hier, Richie MacIsaac and Peter Cooper.  

Round 1: 

Renwick advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
