Gregor Mumo vs Salim Mwachofi

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 30/05/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gregor Mumo (12 - 7 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Salim Mwachofi(9 - 3) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Mumo weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces, while Mwachofi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Connor Kamau, and the three ringside judges are Michael Bwakali, Tavon Wanga and Fraser Magwanga.
