Rob Ofoyen vs Sone Ukpai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Sani Abacha Indoor Sports Hall, Kano,  taking place on 05/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Nigeria-Lagos State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Ofoyen (11 - 7 - 1) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and Sone Ukpai(9 - 7 - 3) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Ofoyen weighed in at 138 pounds and 15 ounces, while Ukpai weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Godfrey Flatari, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Shaheed, Emem Gberu and Odion Dokiwari.
