Shane Cassidy vs Karl Laidlaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool,  taking place on 30/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the European Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shotgun Shane Cassidy (27(25) - 0) who hails from Galway, Ireland and Karl Laidlaw(17(13) - 4(3)) from Galway, Ireland.  Both Cassidy and Laidlaw weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Dower, and the three ringside judges are Michael Beretta, John McBride and Robert Wathen.  

Round 1: 

Cassidy steps away from his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  Cassidy throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.
